Important Notes to Team Leaders:

1.) Schedules for the first match of the season will be posted by September 8th at the very latest. If your team has not been placed, please remember to add at least 9 players to your roster, set your team to Ready status and send us a division request. Only teams that are set to Ready status and have met the aformentioned criteria will be scheduled for matches.

2.) Teams may ready up at any point, so if you miss Week 1 do not worry. You can still continue to build up your roster and play the next week.

3.) This seasons maplist will be announced following the closing of the Highlander Season 23 Polls (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1N4kJvm7cQI4iB3srw-GZeSSv2lzmosA1RLoxDxvUZMU). The polls will be closed out on August 21st. If you haven't participated.. please give us your feedback! See this forum post (http://www.ugcleague.net/forum/showthread.php?59054-UGC-Highlander-Season-23-Polls-are-Live!) for more information.

4. We are using the same whitelist as Season 22, it is available to download here (www.ugcleague.com/files_tf2h.cfm).

5.) This seasons format will feature 8 regular weeks with 4 weeks of playoffs (3 playoff weeks and Grand Finals). There will be a fulltime rosterlock after the default match day of Week 7. All players will receive a participation medal assuming they were rostered on a team for a majority of the season. Regional divisions, and Platinum and Silver will receive placement medals for top 3 teams.

6.) We are progressively adjusting the placement guidelines for Silver with Gold experience having decayed, as outlined below:

Silver - Is the intermediate skill division. Rosters are expected to be a mix of players with experience on low Platinum teams, established Silver teams and high Steel teams. Teams are permitted to have no more than 3 Platinum players from teams with established records (3+ legitimate wins) in the past 3 completed seasons and current season. Teams are permitted to have no more than 1 ESEA-I or ETF2L Premiership player rostered. See rule 3.2 for more information.

We also want to remind everyone that placement guidelines are just that - guidelines. Admins reserve the right to use discretion to place teams into a division where they will be most appropriate.

Team placements will be more fluid this season for North America and Europe to better spread our teams across the three divisions. This means that divisions will be divided based on roster strength of the teams in those divisions, combined with the new guidelines for Silver displayed above. This requires a lot of work and will likely result in many adjustments so please be patient and work with us if you have any concerns.

This is an effort to better balance the divisions now and in the future. Further, this is a pilot geared towards checking the viability of completely removing placement guidelines in the future, which we feel will allow to us to place teams more adequately.

7.) Our league's Chat Support is held over the Discord application.
If you are logged in as a player or leader, this support option is on your menu. We've also embedded the Discord widget on this page (http://www.ugcleague.com/chat_support_tf2h.cfm).
For more details please visit this forum thread (http://www.ugcleague.net/forum/showthread.php?44735-UGC-support-chat-moved-to-Discord-app).

8.) Alternatively, if you have an issue that requires admin attention, please use our support ticket system. Players who login via Steam can submit a ticket as well as leaders who login with a special leader username/password. The ticket system can be located in the Support Menu once you login as a player or a leader.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL MERCS AND THEIR TEAMS!
