Important Dates:

Tuesday, January 31st - Highlander Sign-ups Close
Tuesday, March 7th - Highlander Fulltime Rosterlock
Monday, March 20th - Playoffs Start

Important Notes to Team Leaders:

1.) Schedules for the first match of the season will be posted by January 19th. If your team has not been placed, please remember to add at least 9 players to your roster, set your team to Ready status and send us a division request. Only teams that are set to Ready status and have met the aformentioned criteria will be scheduled for matches.

2.) Teams may ready up at any point, so if you miss Week 1 do not worry. You can still continue to build up your roster and play the next week.

3.) This seasons maplist and whitelist will be announced following the closing of the Highlander Season 21 survey. The survey will be closed out on January 9th. If you haven't participated, please check that you have met our requirements and give us your opinions! See this forum post (http://www.ugcleague.net/forum/showthread.php?54524-Changes-Coming-to-Highlander-Season-21) for more information.

4.) This seasons format will feature 8 regular weeks with 4 weeks of playoffs (3 playoff weeks and Grand Finals). There will be a fulltime rosterlock after the default match day of Week 7. Participation medals will be awarded to every division, and placement medals will be awarded to Platinum and Silver this season.

5.) With Gold merged into Platinum, we have changed the placement guidelines for Silver, as outlined below:

Silver - Is the seeding division for Platinum. Rosters are expected to be a mix of players with experience on mid to low Gold teams, established Silver teams and high Steel teams. Teams are permitted to have no more than 3 Gold players (or 2 Gold players and 1 Platinum player) from teams with established records (3+ legitimate wins) in the past 3 completed seasons and current season. Teams are permitted to have no more than 1 ESEA-I or ETF2L Premiership player rostered. See rule 3.2 for more information.

6.) Season 21 will see the introduction of new roster cooldowns features, as requested by our top players.

New roster rules (applies to all TF2 formats): Effective Midnight (EST) of Week 1
1.) Players may join 1 team in each format per 8 day period. The 18 hour roster cooldown timer still applies to roster joins.
2.) Teams may accept no more than 3 players to their roster in an 8 day period. A player that left your roster and wants to rejoin will still count against that limit of 3 per 8 days.

1.) Prior to the effective date, players may move around freely and teams can accept as many new players as they want. These new rules will be in effect starting at Midnight (EST) of Week 1 default match day and will remain in effect throughout the active season.
2.) Teams sitting in one of the Regional *New Teams divisions are exempt from all aspects of these rules while they reside in that division.

7.) Our league's Chat Support is held over the Discord application.
