Match Play and Scoring (from Rules page):

1.3.3. KOTH - King Of The Hill Maps
Example maps: koth_viaduct and koth_ashville
Server config: ugc_6v_koth.cfg

Match Play:KOTH maps are played in 2 halves. Halves will end when the cap limit of 3 is reached by one team.

Round 1: Team A scores 2 round wins. The half is over with Team A scoring 3-0.
Round 2: Team B scores 2 round wins. The half is over with Team B scoring 3-0.
Score is tied 3-3 after 2 round.
Round 3 (Tiebreaker): Team A scores the first round win
Team A wins 4-3

Scoring: The winning team is the first to score 4 TOTAL round wins. Note: There is no time limit on KOTH maps. The match only ends when one team reaches a score of 4 round wins. The server configs cannot track the cumulative score across 2 halves and teams will need to stop the match on their own.
Overtime: If after 2 halves the scores are tied (for example, 3-0, 0-3, a third round is to be played. The winning team is the first to win the first round win.
Possible Scores are (4-0, 4-1, 4-2, or 4-3).

Server commands:
1. Authenticate to your server with rcon_password ( rcon_password insertpasswordhere )
2. Execute ugc_6v_koth.cfg from the command line ( rcon exec ugc_6v_koth.cfg )
3. Reload the map. This is necessary for Source TV to start recording ( rcon changelevel koth_coalplant_b7)

Scheduling a UGC server: We have servers given to us by GameServers. Leaders can reserve one for their match by following the instructions in their leader panel under the Match Details section.
