I think this feature would be a great and quicker option along with leaving comments on peoples threads.

With one click recommend or don't recommend a player or team based on past performance, sportsmanship, etc. (similar to a like or dislike)

To combat spam and abuse of this system. Only allow active accounts with certain lengths of time to recommend/not recommend. And accounts may only vote on the player/team once per thread (but may change their vote once if they accidentally click wrong or simply just change their thoughts.)
