UGC Forum Rules
The UGC forums are meant to be a open forum.
We welcome constructive conversations but do not appreciate, and may not tolerate bullying or disrespectful behavior of any kind towards fellow members of the UGC community.
If you have a serious problem with another member, contact an admin directly through our Private Messaging (PM) system or fill out our support form.
We do not allow posts or links to sites that are sexual in nature or violate UGC community standards for decency. We reserve the right to remove posts that include bad content without notice.
If you have to ask whether or not it's acceptable forum material, it's probably not!
Posts that are Offensive in nature may be removed. The definition of Offensive is entirely subjective, at the discretion of admins. This can include but is not limited to; posting photographs of players without permission, posting personal information that a user expects to be private, posting private messages, harassing or stalking other members, or any offensive posting with the intent to cause harm. We will try to allow your discussion to to be free and without interference, until it becomes impossible to not act on. Please use your own good judgement and refrain from posts that are unnecessarily harmful, insulting or offensive. Repeat offenses of stalking and harassment, and the creation of alt accounts for the purpose of stalking may result in a ban from the forum and the league.
Note: Posting pornographic images to any page of our website will result in a ban from both the league and the forums.
Multiple, repeated and frequent single word posts are posts are discouraged.
Advertising, spamming and trolling is not allowed. This includes the use of the forum, email, visitor messages, blog comments, picture comments and private message systems.
In general, advertising and soliciting are not allowed on our forums.
Server Hosting Companies and others who provide a game related service can make a simple informative post about their services, that post must be made by an official of the company involved.
Other leagues and tournaments are allowed to make simple informative announcements of their upcoming events, provided they are an Admin of that league and have been granted UGC admin permission to post about the event.
Special events for our community may be posted here, community events involving other leagues must ask permission from our admins, some events that reoccur may be granted lasting permission to post. If you are not sure, ask first.
Please note that any post made for advertising should be direct and informative, postings that are insulting or negative about competitors will not be allowed.
We reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.
We also reserve the right to ban anyone who willfully violates the forum rules. A forum ban will not prevent you from continuing to participate in regular league activities.
If admins decide to act on a particular thread or post, you may not receive an explanation due to time constraints. You are not due an explanation for every instance, if you have a serious problem with an action taken regarding your post, please discuss it with an admin or bring it to the attention of a senior admin
Communicating with Admins
We ask that you communicate with admins in a polite manner. Our admins contribute an immense amount of their time managing this 'free to play' league. Admins are not infallible, and will make mistakes. Should that occur with you, please accept our apology in advance.
When communicating with admins about errors, mistakes or for any matter at hand, please do so in a polite way and with the intent of solving a problem. We will try to do the same. Thank You.
Posts discussing match disputes are not allowed.
Conversations with the staff about match disputes or cheat accusations are strictly confidential. Any such information posted in the forums will be deleted.
Any disputes with the staff of UGC are encouraged to be handled through the Private Message System or the Support System.
Team Leaders can request access to a leaders only forum. This forum is intended for serious discussion about UGC league operations on a leader to leader and leader to admin level. If your team has a serious issue with a league policy that warrants discussion and input from other team leaders, this is the place to do it.
We reserve the right to update and modify these rules as the needs of the community dictate to ensure the smooth operation of this community.
